On Monday, corresponding to 5 / 2 / 1445 AH, the Student Affairs and Alumni Administration, in collaboration with the university’s colleges, hosted an introductory meeting for new students in honor of the start of the new academic year and under the patronage of the president of the university, Dr. Mohammed Saleh Alshitawi. The president welcomed the incoming students during the meeting and prayed for Allah to help, prosper, and guide them as they pursue their study there. With Allah willing, he said that the university will make the most of all its resources to raise the standard of instruction and help students develop the skills and abilities necessary to increase their employability and competitiveness. He further emphasized the blessings that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s education system receives from our wise leadership, which is headed by King Salman bin Abdulaziz, may Allah protect him. Moreover, Dr. Khaled Ibrahim Aljaithen, Director of Student Affairs and Alumni, gave a presentation to the new students titled: The Nature of University Life. After hearing the students’ comments and responding to their inquiries, the discussion came to an end.
