Mustaqbal University, represented by the College of Administrative Sciences and Humanities, celebrates the International Day of Law.

The Law Department at College of Administrative Sciences and Humanities in Mustaqbal university organized a scientific lecture to commemorate the International Day of Law, which is observed on September 13th each year. Dr. Ahmad Saleh Altwaijri, Dean of the college, kicked off the ceremony by reminding students and faculty members of the importance of law in governing the state, defending its security and stability, and guaranteeing individuals’ rights and freedoms.

During his remarks, the Head of the Law department, Dr. Alhassan Ahmed Abkas, stated that the law follows an individual wherever they go. Individuals are protected by law even outside of their home country through the international legal system, which is supported by thousands of international agreements that govern relations between states on the one hand and internationally extended relations between individuals on the other, as well as coordinate global trade, economic, and financial exchanges, and the movement of individuals between countries.

Mr. Mishal Ahmed Alsharida’s contribution demonstrated how the legislation fosters good connections among citizens in the community, regardless of their positions, whether they are dealers, employees, contractors, or others. He also underlined that the law protects the community’s interests, maintains the stability of its relationships, and establishes norms for those relationships to avoid the violation of others’ rights.

The event closed with a speech by Dr. Taha Almaghribi, who emphasized the importance of following regulations in order to achieve social and political development and progress. He stated that the law regulates people’s life, avoids social conflicts, and surrounds crime, and as a result, the state becomes free of crises and issues, becoming one of the most advanced countries in all social, educational, economic, cultural, and other areas.
