The operations of the Information Technology Department constitute a very important aspect of the organizational processes at the university, and it is one of the main priorities of the university administration, for the cognitive and technical progress witnessed by the whole world, and the emergence of a number of modern global trends in education, the most important of which is the trend towards e-learning applications and distance education, which makes the university adopt the latest technical means in education, aspiring to excellence and improving the level of academic performance to consolidate the values, objectives, policies and strategies of the university, the Information Technology Department works to develop the information technology infrastructure to keep pace with the latest technologies, which are characterized by the latest technologies. The department works to build professional relationships and smart partnerships with specialized bodies in the field of information technology to exchange experiences to develop the university's IT environment.
