The Legal Affairs Department was established by University President's Decision no: The Legal Affairs Department is organizationally linked to His Excellency the President of the University and is the body entrusted with giving opinions and advice to all bodies and departments at the university regarding the correctness of the application of laws, regulations and instructions, reviewing all contracts and agreements and organizing them in a legal form, studying the violations attributed to faculty members, employees and students, and representing the university in cases brought against it before the authorities. In cases brought against it before the competent authorities such as the Administrative Court at the Board of Grievances, the Labor Court, or the Sharia Judiciary, studying contracts and agreements concluded with colleges, deanships and various centers at the university, as well as preparing and reviewing administrative decisions and other work referred to it, and the Legal Affairs Department consists of several units, as follows:
