Computer Engineering
The Saudi national policy for science and technology emphasizes, in its second strategic principle, the importance of strengthening education in scientific and technological fields necessary for development. It also highlights, in its tenth strategic principle, the need to adopt, develop, and utilize information technology to enhance interaction with information and support development. The Computer Engineering Department responds to these principles by providing highly skilled human resources in computer and network engineering, covering careers such as computer engineer, communications engineer, network engineer, and systems engineer.
Computer Science
The Computer Science Department was established in 1426 AH (2005) to serve the needs of higher education in the Qassim region of Saudi Arabia. Since then, the department has gained leading experience in academic systems and traditions within the Kingdom.
The department currently offers a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with two specialized tracks: Computer Science and Software Engineering.
Industrial Engineering
The Industrial Engineering Department is one of the key departments of the College of Engineering and Computer Science and is relatively newly established. This leading engineering department in the Qassim region offers an integrated educational and training program that enables graduates to acquire scientific knowledge and practical skills spanning engineering, economic, administrative, and basic sciences. The department also aims to contribute effectively to community service, economic development, and meeting national needs.
Electronics and Communications Engineering
The Electronics and Communications Engineering Department was established to be a leader in higher education locally and regionally, providing high-quality theoretical and practical teaching based on research, group discussions, and continuous exposure to advancements in the field to ensure sustainable learning and self-development of skills.
