Career Opportunities After Graduation
According to the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, the professional areas in which Industrial Engineering graduates may work include the following:
- Developing and implementing methods aimed at improving workforce efficiency and regulating the use of materials and equipment.
- Analyzing the extent and effectiveness of workforce utilization and examining plant equipment layouts and operational data—such as production costs, production process flows, and production schedules—to assess the efficient use of personnel and equipment.
- Examining the functions of administrative units, organizational structures, and project or plant information to identify areas of duplication in roles and responsibilities; developing performance measurement programs and indicators; and analyzing work samples to establish standards and indicators for the optimal utilization of equipment.
- Preparing specialized documents and reports on the results of engineering activities and operations; presenting and explaining them; and maintaining them in designated databases in accordance with approved policies and procedures.
- Developing work methods and procedures and keeping pace with technological advancements.
