Computer Engineering Programs

Program Mission

To excel in embracing knowledge and continuing education; to be recognized as a program that offers one of the best programs in computer engineering and computer network and robotics; to provide an environment in which students are given the essential resources to address and solve real-world problems; and to promote active learning, critical thinking, and engineering judgment. In addition, offering internship and continuing education programs that produce graduates for the highest paid jobs.

Knowledge and understanding

K1: Demonstrate, recall and evaluate knowledge of the concepts, facts, principles, and theories of the basic sciences and mathematics

K2: Exhibit wide knowledge of essential facts, concepts, principles, and theories related to the computer engineering discipline (Computer Engineering track), to the network engineering discipline (Network Engineering track), and to Robotics discipline (Robotics track).

K3: Comprehensively identify research and inquiry methodologies

K4: demonstrate knowledge of recent development in the computer engineering field (Computer Engineering track), in the network engineering field (Network Engineering track), and in Robotics field (Robotics track).

Skills

S1: Identify requirements and criteria of formulating the problems, and setting the rules of solutions

S2: Apply critical and creative thinking methods to solve problems

S3: Develop laboratory sets and conduct experiments, and analyze the measured data

S4: Design, implement and analyze software and hardware systems for computer engineering (Computer Engineering track), for the network engineering (Network Engineering track), and for Robotics (Robotics track).

S5: Utilize techniques, skills and modern tools necessary for computer engineering practices (Computer Engineering track), for the network engineering practices (Network Engineering track), and in Robotics practices (Robotics track)

S6: Communicate effectively in written and oral form with various level audiences

S7: Perform inquiries, investigations, and research to address complex issues and problems.

S8: Apply modern project management, economic and decision-making techniques.
